Whether it’s a landing page or a complex product feature, the process stays simple, structured, and fast-moving — always focused on solving the right problem.
I dig deep into what’s happening — with users, the business, and any past attempts to solve the problem. I talk to people and ask annoying-but-useful questions like: Who exactly are we designing for? What are they trying to do? And what keeps getting in their way?
Here’s where we map the challenge and sketch out solutions. I bring in PMs, engineers, marketers, founders — and especially the people closest to the users (sales, support, or frontline staff). We find edge cases early and define what success actually looks like.
I design fast, but not sloppy. Early on, it’s all about clarity and usability — clickable flows, clean layout, brand alignment, and accessibility. Just enough polish to test and improve. No pixel-worship until we know it works.
We test what we’ve got — through user feedback, behavior data, or quick internal reviews. I tweak, refine, drop what’s not working, and lean into what is. Fail fast, fix fast, move forward.
I test quickly through user feedback, behavior tracking, or internal reviews to refine what works and drop what doesn’t. Delivery, for me, means handing off clean, dev-ready files — with clear specs, edge cases, and no loose ends. It’s not just about finishing; it’s about delivering something purposeful that actually performs.
Delivery is never just a file drop. It’s a thoughtful outcome: clean, documented, and ready for devs — including all states, edge cases, and handoff notes. It’s only “done” when we see results: more signups, better conversions, higher engagement. That’s when the handoff becomes progress.
Answers to common questions about my work, process, and availability.
I’ve been working professionally as a product designer and web designer since 2021. Over the past four years, I’ve designed for startups, solo founders, and larger businesses. I have been covering both product and marketing work. In the last two years, I’ve also taken on development work and built websites end-to-end, especially for small and growing businesses.
I’ve worked across several industries, but my strongest experience is in the recruitment space, where I designed B2C products. I collaborated closely with PMs and engineers in agile sprint, leading discovery, prototyping quickly, testing with real users (often face-to-face with candidates), and iterating based on real data and insights. This taught me how to deliver fast while staying grounded in what users actually need.
I speak fluent German, English, and Spanish. I grew up in Venezuela and attended a German school, where I earned my German high school diploma (Abitur). Later, I completed my studies in Germany, which gave me a strong foundation in both cultures and languages — and makes it easy for me to work across international teams.
I always start by asking two things: what do users actually need here, and what’s the business trying to achieve? Once that’s clear, I focus the design around solving that overlap — whether that’s getting more sign-ups, improving engagement, or making something easier to use. I’ve found that the simpler and more focused the experience, the better it performs — especially when it’s based on real user behavior.
I make sure everything is clear: naming, structure, all the states and edge cases. Since I also work in Webflow and know basic HTML/CSS, I have a better idea of what’s easy to build and what might take longer — so I’m mindful of that while designing. My goal is that developers shouldn’t need to guess or chase me for missing pieces; everything should be there and make sense.
Yes — I often develop the websites I design using Webflow, and I have a solid understanding of HTML and CSS.
While I’m not a front-end engineer, working in Webflow has given me a clearer sense of what’s feasible, how time-consuming certain features can be, and the importance of clean structure, naming conventions, and detailed specs. This helps me deliver design handoffs that are not just beautiful, but also dev-friendly and efficient to build.
